1.  Qutub Minar.

 

 The Qutub Minar is a 73-meter-high tower constructed in 1193 by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak. After the fall of Delhi's last Hindu king, the tower was erected to commemorate Muslim supremacy in the city. With five stories and projecting balconies, this is India's tallest structure.

2.  National Rail Museum.

 

The National Rail Museum in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, displays exhibits on the history of rail transport in India. The museum was inaugurated on 1 February 1977. The museum spans over an area of over 11 acres and the indoor gallery comprises an octagonal building which houses six display galleries and a large open area is laid out to simulate the atmosphere of a railway yard.

3.     Sunder Nursery.

 

Sunder Nursery is bordered on the south by the World Heritage Site of Humayun's Tomb (above) and on the north by the old Purana Qila (below), and on the west by the historic Grand Trunk Road. It was founded in the early twentieth century, when the Imperial Delhi complex was being planned and built. It was used to propagate trees and other plants for use in the new capital city, as well as to test species brought in from all across India and the world to see which ones would survive in Delhi's severe environment.

Visit Sunder Nursery & spend the day in lush green lawns, lake & biodiversity park along with historically significant monuments.

4.  National Gallery of Modern Art.

                                                                                    

New Delhi's National Gallery of Modern Art has more than 17000 of the country's most important works of modern and contemporary art. The primary goals of the NGMA are to collect and conserve modern art from 1850 onwards, as well as to show it to a worldwide audience in order to foster knowledge and sensitivity for a period that influenced current art in India. In addition, the organisation is dedicated to promoting modern Indian art in all of its forms.

5.  SMART BIKE FOR TRAVEL.

 

 

SmartBike is a bike-sharing system that operates through an app that must be downloaded to your smartphone. The bikes are parked in docking stations across the city. An app is used to access the bikes. Users must submit their personal information as well as payment information into the app.

6.    CHANDNI CHOWK.

 

Moonlight Square, also known as Chandni Chowk, is one of Old Delhi's oldest and largest markets. It is in close proximity to the Old Delhi Railway Station. At the eastern end of Chandni Chowk stands the Red Fort monument. It was planned by Shah Jahan's daughter Jahanara and erected by the Mughal Emperor of India Shah Jahan in the 17th century. The market, which was previously split by canals (which are now closed) to reflect moonlight, is still one of India's biggest wholesale marketplaces.
